We have put together some of our favorite snorkeling destinations (not in any particular order!) that are accessible by land and sea from St. Thomas and St. John. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, these Caribbean gems are a paradise for snorkelers and will leave you in awe of the incredible beauty that the USVI has to offer. Lovango Cay, USVI
Only accessible by boat, snorkelers can escape to the unspoiled oasis of Lovango Cay, a small island located nearby to St. Thomas and St. John. Snorkelers will be captivated by the pristine coral gardens, an abundance of colorful reef fish and the chance to encounter majestic eagle rays and other awe-inspiring marine creatures.
Maho Bay, St. John USVI
Maho Bay is a haven for snorkelers to dive into the warm Caribbean waters and seek out gentle, green sea turtles of all sizes. As always, just remember to look and not touch!
